| Accidental Happiness Punch flashback. Who would've seen this one coming, lol. Then again, I heard that this was an outsorced episode done by Magic Bus. They're known for hentai shorts. Shit adds up. Creative, not to say innovative implementation of flashbacks I gotta admit. What an opportunity to bring up some more fanservice. Ulti seemed also more stacked than usual, I see, I see 👀 Sanji would tap everything. Usopp moment was hilarious and good to see again that Sanji trusts him that much. As for the ratio. I didn't expect that this episode would adapt anything beyond page 12 of chapter 991 and the very first minutes confirmed it. The surprise here is that it was already shown that Queen shot his It wasn't directly stated, yet we saw the ice spreading. Thought they would give that part the first half of another episode. Oh well. Not much content was adapted, but at least there wasn't much padding in form of dragged out frames. There was actually more animation than usual overall, even tho art took a little dip. Transition between scenes was also smooth. |

| Ussup was mad hilarious in this episode. Great fanservice though, didn't expect that for real. Always worth to stay up for this. The bromance is great and so is MY GODNESS ULTI. Anyway, the pacing felt alright but we getting more and more flashbacks everytime. Forgot to mention Sanji in the beginning getting mad while Brook just played along. |

| the loyalty of zoro is incredible as always. makes me remember that time when usopp left and the thriller bark sacrifice (and alot more to list on) somehow even tho usopp and nami are running away again, i can still totally feel how dependable they are and can see them defeating ulti and page one (probably outsmarting them too since they’re cowards but still strong and as they do have their own feats) |

| Kolby(Colby) explaining to Drake the type of person Luffy is really hit hard this ep. Remembering what depressing ambitionless life Kolby was heading towards before he found Monkey in that barrel and his character design improving due to his hard work. All kickstarted by Mugiwara Luffy the "infamous" pirate so dangerous the government is willing to pay $1B for his head. Zoro being a true 1st mate basically tells Drake "If you cant beat me from stopping you, you dont deserve to fight my Captain." Usopp using his "Sniper Haki" to sneak a hit on Page then hiding behind Nami is refreshing because its been a looong while since the whole crew was even on the same island. Nami and Usopp comedically running and knowing their strengths, just being distractions for any of Luffys roadablocks. The StrawHats are back with the mentality "we're all fighting this battle together and as long as that rubber man is still fighting we know we have a shot at victory" |

| Damn this episode went by so fast, but who doesn't like some Nami fan service even if it's a flashback, right? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Anyways, as for Drake it was very clear they wouldn't trust him, especially Zoro and his loyalty towards Luffy. On the other side it often times doesn't take too much for Luffy to let someone fight alongside with him, so at least that was no big surprise. I honestly was waiting at what point Sanji would spot Ulti. But I can't blame him, in some shots they definitely looked bigger *cough* The scene with Usopp and Nami was hilarious. Great Lizard Buster Nami lol. Not bad Usopp. Apoo was as annoying as always, especially the way he fights. But did I see right and that Hacha giant fell in love with General Franky? I'm glad Zoro and Drake at least could agree on their hate for Apoo and it seems they now somewhat formed an alliance, but I'm more curious about what Queen shot at the samurai? Looked like some ice rounds with a special bullet and Drake also seemed to know what it actually was. Next episodes preview looks fire. Can't wait for next week. |

| And boom we already got a re-cap of the bathhouse scene from Sanji sneaking in with his raid suit But wow Robin was concenrned for Sanji though?! "I'm glad that you didn't drown in the pool of blood that shot from your nose...", despite that he peeked in xD Luffy always makes the best decisions! Sasuga Luffy-san!!!! Little did Sanji know! Okiku is a guy! BUT SANJI IS INTO ULTI?!! O_O Ussop on the other hand has gotten more and more brave?! Wait never mind, hes hiding behind Name and impersonating her. Sanji putting faith on Ussop to protect Nami xDD Here we got Apoo, the most uninteresting character with the most boring abilities. X Drake, I understand how you feel my guy, Apoo is already my most hated man as well. Since Sanji is following Luffy, I am 1000% expecting them to encounter with Yamato, why else would Oda pair them up together? I'm already dying to see Sanji's reaction to Yamato!! | You know, for a shounen series with over 1000 episodes, I'm quite surprised with the lack of fan service throughout this show. Sure, Oda draws a lot of his female characters in skimpy clothes, but anything beyond that is very minimal. I had completely forgotten about that bath scene. Anyway, I'm almost about to put this show on hold for the 5th time so far as it's simply not that enjoyable, unless binging. |

As I try to recall back, I can't think of anyone who had back stabbed Luffy, also excluding Ussop who left at Water 7(Which I wouldn't really call betraying, since hes not helping the enemy). He didn't even mind Buggy Impel down as he only wanted the treasure while Luffy wanted to safe Ace. Same with Law, Because the only goal in Luffy's mind is his objective to complete in order to become the pirate king. And Kaido is getting in the way of that, so if anything, avoiding a fight with X Drake helped Luffy preserve his energy, while his loyal crewmate Zoro is already handling and testing him. |

| episode starts -> title: 'A new rivalry Nami and Ulti' nothing is happening -> they show nami and ulti because if they dint, the title would be a lie. also rivalry???? i dont see what they rivaled about. still nothing for the rest of the episode until the end where -> Queen shoots with some kind of cryo machine gun. Honestly with how bad this has become i was expecting the ice bullets to be some kind of icycles cose in some kind of universe the icycles are sharper than bullets but i guess something else happened since Queen likes expirimenting. Thank god that happened and they managed to save like 2 minutes from the whole episode. ah yes, and some kind of apoo |

| Normally I am not a big fan of flashbacks (unless a lot of time has passed and/or its woven in sparingly) . . . . . . but for Nami's flashback I am more then glad to make an exception ^-^ ah what a time that was Nami has always been a top tier knockout! Ah, the classic Usopp and Nami comedy routine was golden XD Usopp trying to push off the responsibility of his attack onto Nami utilizing his mimicking talents and Nami making a declaration to fight while making a tactical brave retreat LOL! Looking forward to what their battle/distraction will look like between them and Ulti and Page One. Should produce some hilarious results! Of course Luffy would be cool with Drake fighting it's just the kind of Captain he is and Zoro is keeping tabs on him so it should be fine hopefully; but it will be great to see them take on Apoo and possibly Queen as well (as they say nothing brings people more together then wanting to take down even bigger villainous figures)! Plus looks like Queen is utilizing another trick up his sleeve and the next episode we check back in with our Samurai and Mink warriors on the roof as well very nice looking forward to it. |

| Damn the animation was stiff as hell here. They probably spent all their budget in 1001 in the last 40 seconds of that episode, but still it's no excuse to go from good animation to absolute crap like we had to deal with here. The pacing wasn't so bad although there was a lot of pointless dialogue, I mean more than usual. |

Man if Wano was a bit more fast paced then Wano anime>manga by lot ,i know toei would suck every money with 1 week schedule .Only if they take a 6 month break and return with 1.5+ chap/eps. But hey how impossible it is ,let a man dream XD. It was decent fun for the content it adapted. I knew they would save the last 3 pages for the next episode. Looking forward to an extrended fight |

Looking forward to an extrended fight I am telling you Toei will make the fights clear of manga by a lot .they gas up a normal g4 tranformation man.Jack the Drought,having a track reocrd of Drought XD.But Sulong Inu and Neko are easily YC3 and bloodlust them maybe could scale to YC2 but glad if fight would extend.The scabbard vs Kaido fight was so well done in manga but i have faith in anime.I am looking for chap 1000 1003 1009 1010 1021 1033 1034 in anime so badly sad i have to wait for long time. Being able to give us a lot of sakuga is one of the benefits of the slow pace. |

| Gotta love this side of Zoro, he doesn't easily trust someone, specially in the situation that Drake is in, but then ofc Apoo is terrible enough to make both of them team up lol Nami and Usopp together being iconic as always, and Sanji simping over hybrid Ulti ofc. Looking forward to the sakuga in the next episode! |

| The main highlight of the ep was X Drake's betrayal from the Beast Pirates and the revelation (to the audience) that he was actually a secret spy from the Navy. The manga only showed Luffy and X Drake casually pummeling both of the Numbers simultaneously, but here in the animated version, they've added yet more effects and fantastic animation to emphasize on their respective combat prowess and well, as a further visual enhancement which I do have to admit is wonderful. However, out of all of this, I especially love how Zoro is the first one to get between Luffy and XDrake, that's the right-hand man of the future Pirate King for you! Seems like we're finally entering the phase where Queen is bringing out his 'toy', oh this will be interesting, I especially want to see... |
