  1. One piece of information has been added to the article which one side of the argument feels is synthesis (that two different arguments are being utilized to form a connection solely made by the editor), and that the other side feels it is mere simple observation (covered by our primary sources policy, which allows "non-specialists" inserted to verify the accuracy of the observation.

I think we'll keep it separate from the article talk page, simply to make sure we get a "clean break" at discussing things. I'd also like to exclude editors who aren't a party to the dispute and who might give input that, whilst well-intentioned, might serve to alter the signal-to-noise ratio of the mediation in a manner that obscures our ultimate goals.
