Naming
editPlease do not add "camogie player" after players' names. It is unnecessary and contravenes WP:NAME. Thanks, WWGB (talk) 14:15, 31 December 2009 (UTC)
- As he said. The normal principle is to have the person's name only ("John Smith", for example). If there is already something at John Smith, you have John Smith (camogie player). Thanks, Ironholds (talk) 00:03, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- I'd like to reiterate what has been said above.. again. Please, be cautious and follow what we've advised. Ironholds (talk) 00:07, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hey. Please do start taking notice of this- we do have naming guidelines, and it's best when our articles stick to them. If there is not an article at the person's name, just create it there. If there is, then the title should be Joe Bloggs (camogie player)- note the parenthesis and non-capitals. I guess you just haven't read these notes yet. Currently, people are moving the articles to the correct titles, but it would be great if you could just create them at the correct location in the future. Other than that detail, things look fine, so welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks a lot for your contributions! If you need any help, you're welcome to contact me on my talk page. J Milburn (talk) 00:33, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
- As 4 other editors have pointed out, the titles you have been giving articles are a problem and it's creating work for others. Please read over WP:PRECISION and WP:NAME before creating any further articles. .--RadioFan (talk) 01:11, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, Camogie History, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because This username implies some sort of an official designation. You should consider changing your username,. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. RadioFan (talk) 01:12, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Please stop. If you continue to create pages with inappropriate titles, you will be blocked from editing. PLEASE READ WP:NAME BEFORE CREATING ANYTHING ELSE. RadioFan (talk) 01:16, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Therese Maher, Camogie Player, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. PLEASE READ WP:NAME BEFORE CREATING ANYTHING ELSE. iBendiscuss 01:49, 2 January 2010 (UTC)
Camogie
editHi there. I love the work you've done as the subject badly needs it. However, please do abide by guidelines. I found many of them strange when I first started but they are there for a reason. Plus the fact that, just like camogie, when you join a club you play by its rules. Please don't get browned off with the admins, as the sport badly needs you on Wikipedia. Gra mor, Fergananim (talk) 02:35, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
The article Arlene Cushen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No indication of meeting Notability guidelines.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ttonyb (talk) 16:10, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nell McCarthy, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://m.rte.ie/sport/gaa/2009/0218/camogie.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:47, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
- You've created dozens of these articles, of questionable notability as is. Have you copied these from another source? Shadowjams (talk) 08:05, 3 July 2010 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Camogie Association, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Camogie Association of Ireland. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Camogie Association of Ireland a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Triwbe (talk) 09:00, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Your addition to Nell McCarthy has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. When you make a change to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Camogie Association of Ireland. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit. It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. Triwbe (talk) 11:32, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:Joan O'Flynn.svg
editThank you for uploading File:Joan O'Flynn.svg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. J Milburn (talk) 10:53, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
No articles for many names Many of the people mentioned have no article attached. Need to remove the link Pmunited (talk) 15:17, 11 July 2010 (UTC))
External links
editThank you for all your contributions, you've done a lot of work. Unfortunately, in most articles the linkfarms in the external links sections are inappropriate, and should all be removed. I have done a good handful of them, but all the other articles will also have to be cleaned. You might want to have a look at our external links guideline, which shows you which links are, and which are not appropriate. Most of your links fail the point that they are not directly linked to the subject. E.g. on Áine Codd I have removed all the links to the association, the ball, and local websites. Only the first one is about Áine Codd, the others are about organisations that she is somehow related to, but not directly about her. Those links should be on their own wikipedia pages. I hope this explains.
Could you please help in making the external links sections in all the articles conform this? Thanks. And don't hesitate to contact me if you have further questions. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:25, 23 July 2010 (UTC)
You have tried to re-establish links where none exist. Please see notes above. Please remove links where none exist. Most of the schools in the colleges section have no links. Pmunited (talk) 01:34, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

The article Brídín Uí Mhaolagáin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO like the similar Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eilish Redmond and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Síle Horgan, with others opting to unanimously delete those. Sports officials are not covered by WP:NGAELIC. Nor is a playing career that did not go past university level, even if it led to Ashbourne Cup medals. The single source provided is one page (460) in a book. This book was written by another president of the same organisation so can hardly be classed as independent. This BLP? (it is unclear if the subject is deceased or living) has remained in this state for more than a decade, with neither the creator nor others doing anything to improve it in that time.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

- I apologise for my choice of "fails" as the first word and have exchanged it for "does not meet". I hope this did not appear hostile to you. You do not seem to have edited for a while. Please include sources that are independent of the subject so that the article can be saved. Did her playing career consist of any senior inter-county games? Playing for UCD (or any university) is never enough for a separate biography. --Gaois (talk) 23:52, 26 May 2021 (UTC)
The article Chris O'Connell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO like the similar Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Eilish Redmond and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Síle Horgan, with others opting to unanimously delete those. Sports officials are not covered by WP:NGAELIC. Nor is a playing career that did not go past local club level, even if her sister was there with her. Unspecified people called Paddy, Mick, Matt and Sean may have won hurling honours but this does not contribute to notability, nor do the activities of the four cousins, her (unclear) involvement with two others in a joint achievement and what the special congress in 1964 decided to allow. One of the sources provided is a page (460) in a book. This book was written by another president of the same organisation so can hardly be classed as independent. The same page was used as the single reference for Brídín Uí Mhaolagáin, which suggests more of a list on that page than anything significant. There are links to the Camogie Association website and the website of her club but these are not independent either.

The single (seemingly independent) source provided is one page (460) in a book. This book was written by another president of the same organisation so can hardly be classed as independent. There is a link to the Camogie Association website, which is not independent either. Details such as working for the Irish Dairy Board for 32 years, being the fourth of seven children and the various adventures of her grandfather, an uncle and father do not contribute to notability. Sadly she seems to have died but the only obituary of her (in a local paper) gives little else to add save for "she loved to attend novenas to Saint Anthony and devotions to Our Lady. Her many other hobbies included playing bridge, crafts, going out for lunch, cooking and baking... loved to bake scones, apple tarts, sponges and queen cakes... She was never a real drinker but would very occasionally indulge herself with a Pimms and red lemonade." Though since "Phyllis never missed her weekly copy of the Waterford News & Star and it is only fitting that she be remembered here" it is possibly not independent either.

The article Emer O'Farrell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. A Google search for her name does not produce much that relates to anyone from Galway. A Google search for her name and her name with Athenry also returned only 6 pages of results. No sportspeople with a connection to Galway or to Limerick showed up. This is a WP:MIRROR. This and this will not help to add anything. This does not appear to be the same person. This does not appear to be her either. Being a nominee for a club award is not notable by itself. Being a member of a team that won a second-tier cup in this context is rarely (if ever?) notable. Being a leading scorer for her club in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. A club/college/minor player of such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. A Google search for her name and her name with Sarsfields returned only 101 results. It does not produce much about a person matching this description. No sportspeople with a connection to Galway showed up. An "R. Moloney" is listed as playing for "Lucan's third junior team" here but that is the wrong Sarsfields. It is also the club website so is not independent. That club is in Dublin anyway, not in Galway where she is based. This will not help to add anything either. Being a member of a team that won the "prestigious" and "coveted" honours mentioned is rarely (if ever?) notable regardless of how they are described. A club/college player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. An under-14 coach presumably less so?

The article Amy Murphy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The website link used as reference for her "club record" is dead and, even if it was not, it is still not independent of the subject. A Google search for her name returned only 162 results. This is probably not her. This is probably not her either. The actress might be a more likely target for this title but it appears that she has only two credits, from 1999 and 2000. A club/under-16/under-14 player in such sports is rarely (if ever) notable. This Amy Murphy plays the sport with Sliabh Rua, which is presumably only a club too. I am not sure what it could be used for except to say she dislikes "missing training". But she would have been about seven when User:Camogie History created this article in January 2010, so it isn't her.

The article Aisling Diamond has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. A Google search for this name returned only 97 results. The official website link cited is dead and is not independent of the subject. As for the other citation, if she was playing minor in 2004 then if a local paper from 2000 mentions her as "an under-14 star for Blackhall in the community games", would that not mean she had recently left primary school? Yet that link is also dead. It is difficult so see what it would add even if was not. This might be her, finishing as "second runner-up" in Miss Meath 2011. But finishing as second runner-up in Miss Meath 2011 is unlikely to lead to notability. This actress has one credit from 2021. She might have a future chance of taking this title. A club/under-16/under-14 player in such sports is rarely (if ever) notable.

The article Bernie Farrelly has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. A Google search for this name, if anything, returned more results for the Australian rules football player. Even that search returned only 133 results. The search showed nothing that could be used to improve the article. The name is not mentioned in coverage of the subject, e.g. here. A Google search for "Bernie Maguire" returned only 213 results. A Google search for "Bernadette Maguire" returned only 160 results. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever) notable. The subject of this article does not seem to have played for Waterford yet. The only source provided is one page (460) in a book. This book was written by a president of the organisation overseeing this sport, and was published by that organisation, so can hardly be classed as independent. The same page was used as the single reference for Brídín Uí Mhaolagáin, as well as several other stubs that have been deleted in recent years, created by User:Camogie History. This suggests more of a list on that page rather than anything that amounts to significant coverage.

The article Louise Donoghue has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The only source is the official website of the organisation the person is supposed to be involved with. It does not work. A player having "minor, Under 14 and Under 16 trophies" is rarely (if ever?) notable in any sport. A Google search for her name and Galway returned only 132 results. There is often no mention of sport. If there is they are briefly mentioned playing the wrong sport or for the wrong team. This is a WP:MIRROR. Even if she is this SNA (special needs assistant, working in the classroom of a primary school), that is not sufficient to establish notability. This looks promising as it refers to Galway. But it is a passing mention, the last in a group of people: "the half-back line of Áine Keogh, Cheyenne O'Brien and Louise Donoghue proved effective defensively". She is playing for the wrong team anyway. And half-back is definitely not her right corner-forward position. There is this passing mention. But it is football (junior at that) and in a different province. Even if it was her (if she moved to a different part of the country), a club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. Regardless of how many junior club titles they win.

The article Miriam Malone has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The first link provided as a reference does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. The second citation is from a local newspaper but it is impossible to tell what this contains. The first external link provided is to the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is unclear why User:Camogie History left it there but it is a regular occurrence in articles that they created. A Wikipedia List of players leads not to a list but to a Wikipedia category for players. In what sense is that link "external"? WP:EL states in its opening sentence that they are "links to web pages outside Wikipedia". Captaining a club in a junior final is rarely (if ever?) notable. Being a club's player of the year is rarely (if ever?) notable. Being a "substitute who didn't play" is rarely (if ever?) notable. An under-16/under-14 player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. The subject of this article does not seem to have played the sport at a high enough level for inclusion. A Google search for her name returned only 180 results. This is sport but the Malone mentioned played field hockey and is not "Miriam". A search for "Miriam Malone Waterford camogie" returned only links to other people with this name. There is a shortage of detailed reliable secondary sources that can be used to improve this article. The "Miriam" here is actually called Miriam Walsh and turns out to be playing for Kilkenny against Waterford. She is here again, with a Miriam Bambrick and a Julianne Malone, also playing for Kilkenny, but against Limerick. Those are both from the websites of the organisation she is supposed to be involved with. Even if they amounted to anything they still do not prove this is a notable person.

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. There is the customary User:Camogie History link to the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. A Google search for her name returned only 126 results. This is a solicitor. There is no indication that it is the same person. This is a visual artist. There is no indication that it is the same person. This is an actress and assistant director. This is a writer and filmmaker. This is a "Deputy Provost for Academic Affairs" and Professor of American Studies. This is her again. This does not appear to be the same person. Even if this is her I do not know how it could be used to improve the article. This is unlikely to be her. This is a teacher but she is in the wrong country. This is the correct country. But it does not mention sport. Even if it did she was from a different part of the country. This is from a different part of the country too. This is also from a different part of the country. This is from a different country entirely. This is from another different country. At least this is sport. But it is the wrong sport. This is from the correct part of the right country. But it does not mention sport. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.

A Google search for "Marianne Johnson Waterford" returned only 126 results. Many of them are the same as those included above. In case of misspelling, a search for "Marian Johnson" returned only 105 results. Many of them are the same as those included above. A search for "Marian Johnson Waterford" returned only 136 results. The article Vivienne Kelly has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. Her talk page contains a note from nearly 10 years ago recommending that she should be deleted so this is long overdue. The only link provided as a reference does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. There is the customary User:Camogie History link directly to the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. A Wikipedia List of players leads not to a list but to a Wikipedia category for players. In what sense is that link "external"? WP:EL states in its opening sentence that they are "links to web pages outside Wikipedia". A Google search for her name returned only 110 results. There was nothing in particular concerning this sport. There was nothing in particular concerning any sport. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. The results lead to various other people who might as well be the target of this article title. But the scarcity of those results means that this is unlikely. There are various different businesspeople. There is Radio Today's former Editor and Content Director and her shock at being made redundant. She has some slight coverage in a desperately poor field of candidates. But it does not look like it is enough. This is the closest mention of her occupation. She is the second of four names in the sentence that is the sixth paragraph. She has a nice smile but it does not help to establish notability.

The article Anne Griffin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The article has been tagged for several years as needing additional citations for verification. The reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. The only other links are to the official websites of the same organisation, as is customary with articles created by User:Camogie History. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. It also has the effect of causing the more clearly notable writer to be at a different title (is it because she came along later?) A college player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. Less so if it is playing for the college described in the competition described. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. Having medals at this level is rarely (if ever?) notable, regardless if they are winner or runner-up. Playing for an under-14 team is rarely (if ever?) notable in any sport. Since she appears to have retired there is not much that can be added. A Google search for her name and team returned only 98 results. A Google search for the alternative spelling of her name returned only 124 results. There are players for numerous other clubs, including with similar names, but no player of this name playing for this team. This is probably not her. This is probably not her either. Most of the results have nothing to do with sport. If you go through this her name is included. But it does not appear to be her. There is nothing that can be used to improve an article about this player for this team. And the writer probably deserves to go directly to this title.

There are the customary User:Camogie History link to the official website(s) of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. There are links to various match reports which do not appear to work and videos which are not "available any more". A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. A college player winning a medal with that institution is rarely (if ever?) notable. A player being a "Freshers player of the year" is rarely (if ever?) notable. Receiving scholarships probably does not count as notable. It is uncited anyway. A Google search for her name returned only 90 results. This is nearly the same name. This is probably not her. This is probably not her either. The Fiona and the Stephens here are two different people. This is a curator. This is the wrong country. This is probably not her. This is probably not her either. If this is her then it is "independently published" but it is written by her. Many results involving sport (at least those that are independent and possibly reliable, e.g. here) are brief local mentions of people playing for other teams in other sports. This is sport. But it is the wrong sport, in the wrong country. This is an example of the wrong Fiona and the wrong sport but the right country (though wrong part of it). This is also sport and she has the right name. But it is unlikely to be her.

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The first reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. The second reference provided does not mention this person. It only mentions a person with the same surname. The only other link is to the official websites of the same organisation, as is customary with articles created by User:Camogie History. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. A Wikipedia List of players leads not to a list but to a Wikipedia category for players. In what sense is that link "external"? WP:EL states in its opening sentence that they are "links to web pages outside Wikipedia". A Google search for her name returned only 163 results. The person named "Rebecca Rose Quigley" who features in so many of the results does not appear to be her. She is from Clones if anyone is interested. This is a person named "Sarah Rose Quigley". This is a actress named "Gabriella Rose Quigley". This is an actress named "Emmerson Rose Quigley". This is a person named "Kenzie Rose Quigley". At this point the results become about two Roses of Tralee who must be showing because their surname is Quigley. There is even wine, which might be necessary after this search. This is all I have found for "Rose Quigley". A search for her name and team returned only 68 results. This mentions a "Ray Quigley". Is it the one from the second reference? This mentions a Stephen Quigley. At least Stephen is playing, and even scoring. And in a league final in the right county. But he is doing so for the opposition team. This person might not even exist. There is no evidence for it. Not even a late substitute appearance in a junior B final.

A clarification request on her talk page has not been answered for all that time. A Google search for her name returned only 191 results. This is an artist. This is a fundraiser. This is probably not her. This is an educator. The Theresa and the Cairns in this are separate people. This is the same sad case. This is "a researcher, consultant and trainer, film maker and life/oral historian". But it is in the wrong country. This is also in the wrong country and does not mention sport. This might have been her if it was not the wrong country. This is another wrong country. As is this. At least this is sport. But the wrong one. The article Audrey Kennedy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. It is unclear how having a non-notable brother who won only minor and junior titles contributes towards notability. That is uncited anyway. It is unclear how (apparently) having a well-known 'Award Winning' husband contributes towards notability. That is also uncited. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. There are links to various match reports which do not appear to work and videos which are not "available any more". A Google search for her name returned only 118 results. A search for her name with Limerick much the same. This is an actress. This is her again. This is a chef. This is a former dating advice columnist and amateur film photographer. This is a solicitor who merged her "long established firm" with the one run by Maureen Black. This is a brief mention at the end of the fourth paragraph. At least it is the same sport. But it is the wrong team. And in the wrong part of the country. And the wrong position (a forward saving a shot?). It is too short anyway. This is unlikely to be her. This is the wrong country. This is also the wrong country. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. A player being named on their club's team of the year is rarely (if ever?) notable. Having a medal from school probably does not count as notable.

The article Catherine Doherty (Deirdre player) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. It is unclear how having a non-notable brother who won only an intermediate title contributes towards notability. That is uncited anyway. It is unclear how the achievements of other family members contribute towards notability. That is also uncited. The first reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. The second reference is vague. There are the customary User:Camogie History link(s) to the official website(s) of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. There are links to various match reports which do not appear to work and videos which are not "available anymore". The "On The Ball Official" link leads to RTÉ.ie, a list of years when a camogie competition was won? A Google search for her name returned only 136 results. Many of those, such as this and this, refer to the other person with this name who already has a separate article. She is a writer. A Google search for her name and location returned only 119 results, mostly the same. This is a dancer. But she is from Kansas. It is unlikely that it is her. Here is a person credited with "prop styling" but it probably is not enough to prove notability even if it is her. This is a person who is "passionate about ensuring that students get their questions answered, part of the first class experience of Maynooth University." It does not mention sport. It is not clear if it is her. This is a legal executive and solicitor. She is in the correct location. But she appears to be the wrong age? This is a doctor. She is in the correct location. But it is about palliative care. This is nearly the same name. But it is from the official website. She might not be notable anyway because it is only an award for "Distinguished Administrators of the Association". This is probably not her. But at least it is sport. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. A college player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.

It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. There are links to various match reports which do not appear to work and videos which are not "available anymore". The "On The Ball Official" link leads to RTÉ.ie, a list of years when a camogie competition was won? A Google search for her name returned only 109 results. This profile on the professor and consultant dermatologist does not appear to mention camogie. This one does not mention it either. This newspaper piece on the dermatologist does not appear to mention sport. This is another piece about the dermatologist in a different newspaper. Here she is again. But still no sport. This does not show much that can be added. This is about a poet and critical theorist who is "a world authority on the work of Tom Mac Intyre". It does not appear to be her. A Google search for her name and location returned only 121 results. The "Caitriona" and the "Ryan" here are separate people. They are in different political parties. The "Caitriona" and the "Ryan" here are also separate people. This is sport. But it is the wrong sport. This is also sport. It is even nearly the same name. This might be about her sister. Here they are again. And here again, performing on stage with Imelda May. But it does not mention sport. That woman has more reliable independent secondary sources about her card business and her performances than this person who is supposed to have recently been playing camogie. This is unlikely to be her. This is probably not her either. Is it possible that this is the Caitriona Ryan "who works in Dunnes Stores in Thurles"? At least this is about sport. But it is the wrong sport. A junior club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. A college player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.

The article Karen Brady has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The first reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. A Google search for her name and county returned only 111 results. This is about fitness. But it does not appear to be her. Neither of the two women referred to here appear to be her. This is nearly the same name. This from The Irish Times mentions a "secretary to the Irish Council of Churches" who spoke at a conference. The "Karen Brady" in the other result from The Irish Times turns out to be the similarly named "Karren Brady" who "replaced" a different woman in a boardroom. She does lots of different things but did not mention camogie when she met Queen Elizabeth. This is an office assistant. But it does not mention sport. This is a wedding co-ordinator. It does not mention sport either. This incident/injury report involves a "Karen Brady". But what exactly happened is not clear. This is a history teacher from Navan. It is probably not her. This is a wife. This mentions her again. But at least it is sport and nearer than Navan. The "Karen Brady" mentioned here is a softball coach. There are a couple of people with a similar name listed here but they are playing for the wrong team. The "Brady" here is even playing the wrong sport for the wrong team. The "Karen" and the "Brady" here are separate people even though they are in the correct location. The "Karen Brady" writing here is in the correct location but it is not clear how this helps to establish notability. A Google search for her name and town returned only 62 results. At least this is about a person named "Brady". His name (Richard) even has "ar" in it, like "Karen".

The article Maura McNicholas has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. There are the customary User:Camogie History link(s) to the official website(s) of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. A Wikipedia List of players leads not to a list but to a Wikipedia category for players. In what sense is that link "external"? WP:EL states in its opening sentence that they are "links to web pages outside Wikipedia". A Google search for her name returned only 72 results. Maura wrote this. McNicholas is one of three women she is thanking for helping her not to land at the wrong airport. This has sport. But it is golf. Many of the newspaper reports and other search results relate to golf. This is presumably the same person. This too. Even if they are her they just mention the name. This might be her as well. At least it gives some details about who the person is. Still no camogie. And it is really about Mary McCabe from Abbeyleix. There is more golf in this press release. This is someone who is involved in a public library. This must be the same person. The "Maura" and the "McNicholas" here are separate people. The "Maura" and the "McNicholas" here are also separate people. This is from the wrong part of the country. This is presumably her again, still in the same wrong part of the country. "Maura" won €25 here. But the "McNicholas" turns out to be two boys in a photograph. They are enjoying themselves on a Christmas morning. It is the same wrong part of the country as the previous person. Therefore the two boys might be related to the woman? At least this is sport. But it is the wrong sport. And "Maura" and "McNicholas" again refer to separate people. And this is much the same. But with positions swapped about. "Maura" has risen from eighth to third position. "McNicholas" has dropped from first to second position. The first is for "Offensive Leaders" and the second is for "Scoring Leaders". One of the athletes listed here has the correct name. But it is the wrong sport. It does not seem like she won a medal. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable. Having a medal from school probably does not count as notable.

The article Marie O'Connor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The first reference provided is vague. It does not even have a date. The second reference provided does not appear to work. Even if it did it is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. The third reference provided is again vague, and also does not have a date. There are the customary User:Camogie History link(s) to the official website(s) of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. It is almost as if the article was created to link to the official website. There are links to various match reports which do not appear to work and videos which are not "available anymore". A Google search for her name returned only 194 results. This woman is from the right place but she does not appear to be involved in any sport. Here she is again. This is a spokesperson for the National Birth Alliance. She is named at the end of the second last paragraph of that Irish Examiner article. Here she is again, also in the second last paragraph of the Irish Examiner. And here she is again. But she has made it as far as the third last paragraph. This is an actress. This just mentions the name along with geriatric medicine. This is a textile designer. But she is based in the wrong country. This is an event rider. At least she is from the right country. This is a podiatrist. It is unclear if she plays sport. This is someone who is "a dedicated payroll professional" and "has worked her way up to the role of Assistant Manager". It does not mention sport. It is also in the wrong country. This is "a director to voluntary and State Boards". Is she the board member of Dublin Airport mentioned here by the Irish Examiner and described here as an accountant by the same newspaper? This is a news editor and debut novelist. Even if she also plays sport she is based, or has been based, in the wrong parts of the country. At least this is sport. But it is the wrong part of the country. The athlete mentioned here is also from the wrong part of the country. This is an "ordinary Board member" at An Bord Pleanála. The two people in this photograph almost make the correct name together. One of Enniscorthy's "best known residents" was "well known in greyhound circles" according to this. But Enniscorthy is in the wrong part of the country. Here is another person from County Wexford, but this time it is New Ross. The sport she is playing is golf. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.

The article Jenny Duffy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:ANYBIO. The first reference provided does not even mention her name. The "memories" are by a different person and no one with this name is involved. The second reference provided is from the official website of the organisation this person is supposed to be involved with. Perhaps the most interesting part is where it says A Game of Our Own was "officially launched by the Camogie Association at Croke Park on December 15th 2011". This appears to be the Mary Moran book that User:Camogie History is so determined to have included in as many promotional stubs and other articles as possible. So the Camogie Association not only published this book (written by one of its presidents) but it even launched this book as well. Which possibly makes its value as an independent source even more questionable, if, as it appears, the Camogie Association could find no one else to be involved in even a small part of it. The third reference provided amounts to a chair thanking "various committees for all their hard work, in particular the Fixtures committee under the chairmanship of Larry Dunne, the Development committee under Noel Wilson who are doing so much to support clubs and develop the game throughout the clubs and the schools, and also Jenny Duffy who is always on hand to provide support". I do not understand how this demonstrates notability. The fourth reference provided is so vague as to be practically useless to demonstrate notability. It could be anything from the year 2000. A Google search for her name returned only 92 results. This woman is interested in sex work and involved in a "sex-worker run organization". In the wrong country. This woman "has a wealth of corporate and role-play experience". This is a busker. This is a book reviewer. This is a "choreographer and dance educator". She is in all the wrong countries and continents. This appears to be the same person. According to her, "although I was fulfilling my passion for dance by working for the BC Lions, my real job as choreographer was to represent the Lions' brand and help generate revenue at every opportunity". This is a casting director. This might be her again. And this. And this. On further investigation, this turned out to be a "Project Support Officer". This is a personal fitness coach. This is an actress. This woman travels and enjoys ballet. No time for camogie? This appears to be a maintenance worker. The "Duffy" here is named Ethan. Random. This "Jennifer Duffy" is from a different part of the country. She plays a different sport anyway. It can't be her. She would have been about eight when User:Camogie History created the article. A club player in such sports is rarely (if ever?) notable.
