| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Chika's cuteness just never ceases to amuse me. Too adorable. Mind games continue this episode and I find it pretty entertaining. In particular, there's Kaguya's reactions and chemistry between the main cast. Shirogane also got a smartphone! I like his way of thinking of the modern generation about socializing. Seems we got the inner thoughts from chapter 7 too. Pretty amusing scenarios for the imaginations. This show just keeps on giving. |

| I honestly really like the directing for the series. The ED visuals are really good and I really like the dream sequence. Hilarious, the mountains VS beach The smartphone segment and the advise in the end is just damn hilarious. Fujiwara is a weirdo wanting to go to Mt Osore.   |

| This is absolutely fantastic, best rom-com in ages. That smartphone battle. XD The best part about that was that Kaguya literally set up Miyuki to get a smart phone. :3 Hah, both Moyuki and me hate bugs, luckily I'm a half decent swimmer so the beach is the way to go. xD The romance advice segment was definitely the best, that Miyuki-Kaguya Kabedon was so much win. <3 I also love how Miyuki noticed Kaguya was there and instantly turned around on all his words, to the point Kaguya thought it was real and honestly it probably is so I suppose that was her victory. xD Directing and production is still top notch, love it. |

This chapter sets up some plot lines that come up later in the manga, so they probably didn’t want to cut it, but it was also light on content compared to other chapters so they just took the easy route and kept the reintroduction. I'm adding this so it's clear for everyone Manga Panel for information mentioned above Even the series itself treated it as a joke of dejavu lol. EDIT: The Designs changed as well maybe to imply how the manga art changed a bit too after the magazine change? |

Hilarious, the mountains VS beach It depends on the staff tbh but I would say A1 with a good staff (Most of the staff working on this are ex-Shaft employees) Shaft with the head tilting and directing will really harm the show in the long run and it would not really match the character designs in my opinion. |

| um, i dunno why they repeated the first 4 minutes again. i actually thought i got the wrong episode.. but nvm that, this episode was as funny as the previous one. i'm really digging how well directed it is, it feels so energetic, no unnecessary long static shots or anything like that. just pure cut to the chase romcom, i like that also, i laughed a little bit too hard at this  |

| That smartphone segment had me cracking up and leave it to fucking Chika to ruin it all in the end xDDD But man that second segment with the summer trip has me reconsidering how I feel about Chika due to her weird ass suggestion lol (Also, it was HILARIOUS to see how Shirogane can't swim and how his fear of bugs completely put him off the mountains xD Likewise with Kaguya not wanting to get outshined by Chika's oppai lololol) But that last segment was really cute....A good showcase as to why these two are too perfect for each other LOLOLOLOL P.S. Seeing Kaguya say "Weak Sauce President" gave me life LMFAO |
| Directing and production values are still on-point. Lol, Shirogane's interpretation of those girls teasing the guy was hilarious! As expected, from the genius who invented the kabeDOWN. ED kinda hints that they're gonna adapt chapters 44-45. |

| I think liked first episode more, but this was still very good. Fujiwara's simple head turning is pretty funny. Kaguya's commenting on Shirogane's advice part was hilarious! Manga transitions between chapters felt more natural for me than here just like goin to another part. ED is amazing!!! |

| Awesome episode. Kaguya is so cute. Tho I'm surprised he complained about her so much when talking honestly. I also don't really see any point in praising her when he noticed she is listening - isn't it what he wants to avoid? |

| Miyuki finally joins the modern age lol. Guess giving out your contact info would also count as a defeat for them. Still that really is a lot of trouble she went to get him that phone though. A girls tears truly is a formidable weapon. The two's views on the trip sure was large contrast. Chika's counterattack sure hit Kaguya where it hurts. Her dream choice was quite the sketchy place. The contrast in the two's reactions during the love advice sure was amusing. Guess Miyuki really doesn't understand woman. Still his confession example sure was amusing considering who was behind that door. Miyuki's comeback though sure was lucky. Despite the questionable advice at least that guy managed to succeed. Another excellent episode. |

| I mean, that introduction at the beginning is already getting old, are they planning, to have that start every episode? That would just be lame and lazy from them. I couldn't handle the scene where Shirogane was giving love advice to that student and suddenly gave him a boost of confidence using misleading perspective, I just couldn't mùentai a straight face, man I love this show. |
| Honestly, i am loving this anime, everything about it, it is being epic, comedy is on-point, pure gold for me! Every battle was hilarious and made me laugh a lot, especially Shirogane's advice part, and the wall-slamming was completelly epic! Kaguya is just perfectely cute in every reaction! Anxious for next episode! |

| The amount of recapping at the beginning of the episode shocked me, but I love this series and appreciate the quality of this adaptation enough that it's forgiven. I imagine we won't be recapping as much by the 3rd or 4th episodes in. |

| An outstanding anime as expected considering the manga. What impressed me most was the ED. That is easily one of the best ones I've seen in years, and I love how it captures Kaguya's character so well. That's why I've always been a fan of OPs and EDs that tell stories in alternate worlds from the actual anime. |

That was actually less of a recap but moreso a cleverly played joke & reference at the manga's history when it changed magazines, had to reintroduce characters & its premise as well as showing off the design changes the author undertook. |
| So, we're still rotating between chapters from Volumes 1 and 2 for now (including the weird recap, to boot). The chapters chosen this time weren't quite as strong as last week (and I would have liked to see Kaguya's love advice chapter here to contrast with Miyuki's), but the production values once again elevated the material to still make it highly entertaining (in particular, Miyuki's love advice was way more entertaining than in the manga). |

| They're still doing a good job of adapting this without being slavishly following the manga. I've gotten used to the voices by now too. And that ED was awesome on so many levels. Cannot wait for best boy to make his appearance soon. |

| Miyuki impersonating the voice of the girls, the super original "kabe-down", the confession actually working. His imagination of how a romantic day in the mountain with Kaguya would be. I was crying of how much I was laughing, I couldn't ask more for this adaptation, godlike work so far. And they even freaking fixed the subtitles! We did it! |

| Most shocking thing of this episode is that Shirogane's advice actually worked. He turned what could had end being a poor bastard into a true alpha. The ending theme is quite good. |
